My favorite thing that I don't worry about anymore is gristle or fat in the meat or bones in the fish. With veggie food, I know there are tons of health benefits, but day-to-day, just knowing whatever plate of food I prepare is all edible and doesn't need to be trimmed to avoid those gross bits, is really rewarding. It's a really clean way of eating.

Choking on a chicken bone-- something I was cautioned about many times as a kitten.
We can worry *less* than most ppl about heart disease, obesity & many other health concerns. Food poisoning is less common too.

Nothing, I'm afraid. You see, the vegetables we eat can be contaminated with runoff from factory farms. It's how E. coli has gotten on spinach and green onions. However, if we don't eat meat, we're not literally eating poo (which can be in ground meats).
We have a lower risk of heart disease, cancer, stroke, and other so-called diseases of affluence, but family history does play a big role, especially when it comes to heart disease and cancer.

Mad cow disease, but I heard that prions are passed on through cows milk, and that they also stay on pots and pans that meat was cooked on.I think vegetarians also don't have to worry too much about their blood pressure.

High Cholesterol, really? Have you had yours checked? Because I don't know if you are aware of the facts or not but it has as much to do with heredity as it does with your diet.
