Can you get herpes from kissing?

Hey i was seeing this girl for about 3 weeks, never went any further than heavy making out. Allot of kissing but that was it. Last week she told me that she has herpes 1 or the first type of i. Is it possible for me to get herpes?

She had no sores, and has not had an outbreak in 6 months.

If she has a fever blister and you kiss her, yes you can get herpes.

Yes you can get Herpes Simplex.
