It depends on what type you have. Some can be treated with diet and exercise, others have to inject insulin.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Diabetes is 2 types
one that can be managed using insulin
& the other can be managed by drugs&/or Insulin
this should be determined by a physician
also I have heared about some cases that were getting a very good response with natural herbal products such as "Diamaxol", you can read more about by visiting this site :
http://4all.getmyteamsite.com
but still this should be after consulting your Doctor or Pharmacist & even under thier supervesion if possible .

Type 2, which is usually age related can be treated with diet or tablets, but sometimes goes on to require insulin injections.
Type 1 is treated by diet and insulin injections.
My son has been diabetic for 22 years and when he was diagnosed the consultant told us that once he was stabilised we would be glad that was all that was wrong with him.
He is now almost 30 rears old and plays football regularly.
