cecilia = if that is the case then why can't we all just be judged on the merit that if we led a good life and were good to our fellow brothers and creatures we can go to heaven? if its good for one why not good for the other?

Romans 2:12-16
12All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 13For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. 14(Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, 15since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.) 16This will take place on the day when God will judge men's secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.
If you look at this passage it seems to state what will happen. That if someone is totally ignorant but their heart appears as if it would have accepted him then they will not burn in hell.

Well by your question you've heard of Jesus Christ or you wouldn't be asking this question. God Is just and would never remove His hand from someone until they have heard the Good News (Gospel) atleast once. Without accepting Jesus as your Lord & Savior,
all your good works are as filthy rags, even the most righteous. I know for a fact that even In desolate countries they have satellites. Howelse will the world see the 2 prophets preach In one hour. Via Satellite...

I wonder that question to at times. I never asked someone wiser than me though, like a pastor. But in my logical thinking here it goes, will Jesus come back before everyone has had the chance to hear it? I don't think so, that would be unfair or He could just take those and send them to heaven. I think there is scripture for this actually, there are missionaries all over the world so its not like buddhists and muslims and jews don't have the materials to hear it. We support mssionaries to japan, germany, im in italy here and there is a church, and so on.

By the time Jesus comes back for the Church, every human will have had an opportunity to learn about God and make a decision.
Those who have chosen to follow Jesus Christ will go to heaven. Those who have chosen NOT to follow Jesus Christ will go to hell. It has nothing to do with how nice you are or how many nice things you have done. It has to do with rather or not Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior.
This is not difficult and should be easy to understand. Choose to go to heaven or choose to go to hell. Get right with God and enjoy heaven. Otherwise, hell is eternal misery and damnation. The worse part is that you will be alive with your memories of what you could have chosen. That is why Christians try so hard. We love God's creations as much as He does and we don't want anyone to suffer these consequences. I just don't know any other way to make it clearer.
God loves you and so do I. Please open your mind and heart and let Jesus in.
Dear Heavenly Father, I confess that I have sinned against heaven and in your sight and need forgiveness. Thank you for sending your Son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins, according to the Scriptures, and I thank you for raising Him from the dead. Today I ask Him to come into my heart to cleanse me from my sin and become my Lord and Savior. I give myself to you. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!

Hi =)
According to the Bible, it says that Jesus's second coming will not happen until everyone has been given the chance to hear about him and been given the chance to accept him.
This may seem impossible at this point, but, with God, all things are possible, it says that in the Bible too.

Maybe if someone really wants to seek God, if they have never heard of anything, they will eventually find the one like the christian God.
And maybe people are only held accountable if they have heard about Jesus and stuff and haven't believed, than those who have never heard and don't believe.
But we all have a choice.

"Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of GOD. And how will they hear without a preacher and how will he preach unless he has been sent?"
I forget exactly where that scripture is in the BIBLE but to me at least it implies the answer to your question is no, you do not go to hell if you've never heard about JESUS.
In fact the scriptures also teach us that the GOSPEL must be published in every nation before JESUS can return!
But it appears you have heard about JESUS and are looking for loopholes to justify your unbelief.
I wouldn't make that mistake if I were you.

God’s the judge ... and He’s totally fair. Also, there will be 1,000 years of teach during the millennium. Then, too, don’t forget that when God’s elect are delevered up, and the Holy Spirit speaks through them, even the gainsayers will be convinced.
However, after all that you do not accept Christ, you will go to hell.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

This strongly depends on your religion. If you're a christian who has never heard of jesus then you will believe you'll go to hell, but why would you be christian at all if you haven't heard of jesus?
There are hundreds of beliefs in the world, you have your belief, but millions around the world have other beliefs, you should accept that, even if you may not agree with it.
