its an anomaly because they cannot reproduce, but I believe they were in fact born that way with that anomaly, but anyway, if two men want to hug, its not my thing but its none of my business either. After all madonna and britney kissed and ratings soared among hypocrites..

animals are much gayer than humans by the way. On the discovery channel, males are always climbing onto other males.
Mans closest relative, bonobo monkey, we share 98.9%DNA, they have organized homosexual orgies every year, im not kidding.

Look animal especially the mammals use sex in greeting. Watch you male dogs and cats and any other pets you may have. Watch the heifer in standing heat all the cows will mount her til the bull settles her. Homosexuality is a normal thing with all animals most are bisexual none except human even try the mono sexuality and that is because we have been preached to about how wrong it is. People do not like facts especially those that directly affect their religious beliefs. Saying animal don't lick each others *** was their way of being bigot against homosexuality. The people that say homosexuality is not natural probably let a lot of other non facts rule their mind.

There's not. Not to long ago, one man gave me a website (Wikapedia) filled with animals that supposedly exhibited homosexual behaviors. It was a complete joke because zoology has an explanation for all of the actions. For example: It said elephants would mount each other, and put their trunks in each others mouths. In reality it had nothing to do with homosexuality. Young elephants prepare for adulthood through playing with other elephants by fighting, or even mounting. Its not homosexual, its a form of playing that helps prepare them for adult lives in which the skills are needed. Second, baby elephants always put their trunks in their mothers mouths. Its like a mother kissing her son goodnight, or goodbye, etc... All the homosexual behaviors in nature are not homosexual behaviors at all. The elephants are just one example but I was able to easily debunk 12 animals (dolphins, birds, etc) on the spot because I have studied these animals for so long.

Religion aside, let's try for a little honesty here.

There is nothing un-natural about animals failing to reproduce, it happens all the time, but PLEASE stop pretending this is the preferred state of affairs.

Homosexuality is in effect, genetic suicide, and much like regular suicide it's pretty much its own punishment. So for what it's worth I don’t think society should spend any time trying to 'punish' gays.

That said, it is appropriate that society focus its efforts on the breeders. The efforts of the Gay community to access Marriage benefits intended for women and children is reprehensible. All the more so for placing this under the banner of Civil Rights.

As for the 'gays of the animal kingdom' make sure you learn the lesson that's actually being taught. Homosexual behavior for the sake of dominance, pleasure or in the absence of available heterosexual breeding partners is not significant. Exclusively homosexual behavior in the presence of available heterosexual breeding partners though, is a ticket to extinction.

If zookeepers or parents are dismayed by this behavior, it's not 'cause they're bigots and homophobes, it's because they understand the goal of life.

there are gay animals...

but
there are "rules" against homosexuality in the bible
some people who believe in what rules in the bible are important would say it is wrong to be homosexual.

animals also kill each other all the time, so that is also natural.
just because it is "natural" does not mean it is right (the bible also has "rules" against killing each other)

when adam and eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil their eyes were opened and they became like God, knowing good from evil- this is often interpreted as when people became less like animals and more like humans, we now knew right from wrong....

just because you WANT to do something doesn't mean you SHOULD do something.

I really don't care if someone is a homosexual, it is none of my business. I am not here to judge anyone, I just thought you may like some insight from another point of view since you posed the question

There's a big difference between man and animal. Men have the power of reason.

A sin usually takes place only after the thought has been conceived and entertained.

"If you turn to doing good, will there not be an exaltation? But if you do not turn to doing good, there is sin crouching at the entrance, and for you is its craving; and will you, for your part, get the mastery over it?" -- Genesis 4:7

"But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death." -- James 1:14,1

God condemns homosexuality.

"What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, ... will inherit God’s kingdom." -- 1 Corinthians 6:9,10

"... the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error. " -- Romans 1:27

"And you must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing." -- Leviticus 8:22

I had a lesbian cat once but that isn't a good argument because animals don't know what they are doing and we do. I'm not sure if it is wrong or right but do we have to know about it. What ever happened to people keeping the bedroom secret. So much more mystery that way.

There are gay chimps, gay swans, gay sheep, gay deer, gay cats, gay squirrels... etc etc etc.

It is clear that homosexuality is totally natural....

.... but then again... so is Downs Syndrome.
Not that I'm implying there is anything wrong with homosexuality; rather that basing something on it being "natural" or not is stupid. Killing other peoples' children would also be natural, but that doesn't really justify it in common practice.

Yes, homosexuality is very much part of nature. There are many animals who are, it is not unique to humans. I had two dogs who were like that.
