Realize that concepts & ideas are planted and grow in our culture just as sure as corn will grow in the ground. Realize that kindness, honesty, compassion are the seeds that Jesus planted in a time when you could be the next days entertainment of being fed to lions. Realize, you were once a seed(metaphor) too that has matured into a being that can be the extension of ideas of kindenss, honesty, compassion. These concepts of, equaility, (regaurdless of skin color, sex) fairness, honesty, kindness, were planted in you!!! How do you nurture them, tend to them, enrich and extend them into facts of your personality? If you seek somthing in another being, you be that first!! if you seek an honest person, you!! be an honest person. If you seek someone to respect you, you! learn to respect others .
"Be the person you have always wanted to meet"
" Its just as wrong to take offense as it is to be the offender"
thus creating the problem instead of the solution.

Apparantly this question and the input of 4000 yrs of awarness is not as interesting and worthy of comment as a pair of hi heel shoes:( I guess people are more interested in themselves than that 4000 yrs of human wisdom that I love to read about. Those words are not my words but our ancestors before us.
Sorry to bore you with life, love, honor, respect, wisdom, sacrifice, truth, and kindness:(

Yes, and no.

Jesus did plant seeds of morality that has taken centuries to evolve into what we believe and try to practice today.

These young plants of morality will continue to mature and truly show us how to love more and more:
+ The Lord, our God, with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind
+ Our neighbors as ourselves

But Jesus did much more than just plant seeds, he also died for our sins, repairing the gulf that had formed between God and humans, and making heaven possible for us.

With love in Christ.

Jesus planted seeds, just as we are to do. The Holy Spirit waters them. Our job is not to convert people. Thats the job of the Holy Spirit. Our job is to plant seeds.
