I want to write letter to an embassy asking for a visa. How can I say “please issue a visa for me” in appropriate formal English?

You cannot get a visa by writing a letter. There is a standard application process to apply for a visa and you need to follow that. Otherwise, you will be totally ignored.

Most embassies have forms for visa application, and different types of visas (immigrant, business, tourist).

If you haven't got the application form - "Dear Sirs, I wish to apply for a xxxxx visa. Please let me know how I may obtain the necessary application form."

Once you have the form - "Dear Sirs, I enclose a completed visa application form, together with (photos, anything else they want), and my payment of the fee. I look forward to your response."

to write a letter will not work!!!!!!
u need a apoinment to get all
the forms to fill up...they will
ignore ur letter,trust me!
