Hello everybody.
I'm a french girl and I'll do an internship to Burbank on October.
I was wondering : How much is the Taxi from LAX to Burbank (Angeleno Ave.)? Anybody knows a good taxi company?
If it's too expensive, I'll have to take another option: How to go to Burbank from LAX?Is there a bus or a shuttle that link LAX and Burbank?
Thank you :)
Lety

Taxi is out of the question it would cost a fortune....The Bus to Union station that Mark suggests still leaves you getting to Burbank from Union Station...I would take the Primetime Shuttle or Super Shuttle. They will be on the lower LAX level where your baggage is when you arrive. I think they are under the green sign that says "SHUTTLES"... Bon Chance !!!
EDIT:--I stand corrected Kingsley says shuttles are under an orange sign...she would know she works there...

"Paris" & "Kingsley" are correct. It is about 49 km. from LAX to Burbank, and a taxi would be extremely expensive. One of the shuttle buses (Super Shuttle or Primetime) would be more cost effective. They operate 24 hours a day.The Super Shuttle website estimates the fare to be about $26.00 in a shared ride minivan.
By the way, there is an airport in Burbank ( airport code: BUR). If your flight makes a stop over in New York, Boston, or where ever, it may be easier to just fly into Burbank. Try pricing a ticket directly to Burbank and see what the air fare difference is.

I work at LAX. Taxis will be your expensive option. A Shuttle will be your best bet. When you arrive you will come out on the lower level. There are different colored signs there. The Orange signs are the shuttles. So either Shuttle or Taxi. You can ask them both before you decide how much they charge.

Like taking Shuttles over Taxi's. They have other riders with you, but can save you alot of money.
I've taken Super Shuttle a number of times and been very happy with them. I've tride some others, and they are my favorite.
When you land, get your baggage an go outside, tell the person in the middle that you want a super shuttle (they are the people with the vest and phones.)
In Hawaii I took a cab that was $40.00+, but the suttle was only $9.00!
Bon Voyage!

We have an airport in Burbank, you can fly or take a shuttle.
The shuttle will be $50 or $60 dollars, taxi will be way too expensive.
