I think u should do more studies on Islam. Prophet Mohammad never attacked anyone only for the reson that they r not following him. That was a diffrent era and people were fundamentalists too. Those people didnt accept him and his religion, and they attacked him to kill as well. And if anyone is upto killing u-----then definately u ll save urself. For your kind information many of his own bloods also didnt accept his religion---------he didnt kill them. Yah he tried to convience them.

If u take the issue of violations for religion, then i would say in most of the religion have some history of fights. Christians did crusade as well. But that was just for the sake of saving ur own life, value, thinking etc.

Moreover no religion allows anyone to kill anybody or any type of violations. Its we people who r making the religion as an issue of violations. Before we justifying Prophet Mohammad we must justify what we people are doing in 21st century to the humanity. That time was with a diffrent context and now we are in another era. So we just cant justify The Prophet by sitting in diffrent era with a li'l knowledge on religion.

Maybe you read the misled books about Muhammad. He did not make a lot of violent acts against those who did not accept him.In reality Islam was developed by Muhammad without force.Muhammad gave explanation about Islam with peace. But the non muslims did not want to accept Islam and they attacked muslims with force so Muhammad and his followers defended it.Muslims are always defensive and they do not want to be offensive. In Badar war and Uhud war the Quraish soldiers attacked Muhammad and his followers and they defended their territory.Muslims won the war at Badar ,but they were defeated at Uhud, because muslim soldiers did not comply to Muhammad's command.Muham
mad ousted a tribe of jews in Madinah because they broke or betrayed the truce agreement and they did not want to pay islamic taxes. They treated muslims as their enemy. The violent acts were justified because it was a defensive reason as a retaliation..

Are u sure Prophet Mohammad(pbuh)did a lot of violent acts against those who did not accept him? Who told u this? By asking this question who do you want to support for this type of violent acts? If any one has told you or you have read this in any magazine or periodical it is nothing but false propaganda against Him.

This is so wrong. Here are examples of the opposite. !) An old woman out of hatred for the Prophet (SM, PBUH) for preaching against idolatry, religion of her forefathers used to lay thorns on the ways Muhammad (SM, PBUH) used to take. One day not seeing the thorns the Prophet apprehended that the old woman could be sick, went to her house and took care of her. 2) In Tayef the people stoned him for saying that there is but one Allah and Muhammad is his Prophet. Tayef being a beautiful land and liked by the Prophet, he held on to his wounds and did not let the blood drop till he was out of the town. He told to his deciples that he did it because if his sacred blood dropped in the town Allah's curse would have befallen the town and its people. 3) A non believer drew his sword while the Prophet (SM) was resting under a tree and asked, "O muhammad, who will save thee now?" The Prophet (SM) calmly said, "Allah". Hand of the unbeliever trembled and the sword fell down. The Prophet (SM) picked up the sword and asked, "Who will save you now?" He said, "You and please spare my life." Prophet said, "No it's Allah Who can save you. You are free to leave." He fell upon his knees and embraced Islam. Even before his prophethood he was reverred as the most just, truthful, amiable personality and in a word the best man in the Quraish clan and in entire Mecca and wherever he travelled. And it was a group of Rabbis from Medinah (That time Yathrib) who recognised the signs of Prophethood in him and invited him amidst them promising of shelter and security. May Allah Rabbul Al Amin in His infinite Mercy grant you sanity and wisdom, otherwise you will be doomed in this world and the Hereafter."

He was selected, rightly guided and exalted prophet of God. He never did anything agsinst/ without the order of God. Self protection is not only allowed by ordered by God so he fought back his enemies.

That is why God himself blessed him, ordered his angels, Jin and men to pray to him (Allah) to bless him (Mohammad SAW).

Even his enemies praise him when they say Mohammad, originally they say "The Praiseworthy more than all"

You have asked as if you were a witness during that time.

You know nothing about Mohammed (pbuh), get yourself educated about Islam first.

If Islam was so violent, why does it have 1.5 billion followers, which is second to christianity. Why is it people are accepting Islam as their religion. Nobody has forced them to accept it.

It is a fact that, Islam is the fastest growing religion.

No. Jesus never did any act of violence to anyone. If there were conflicts with the townspeople who were upset about his preaching, he just moved on, and instructed his followers to do so also. (That's probably why people today are so happy to insult us , they know we are a truly peaceful religion, and won't retaliate violently) Try that with a Muslim.

When Jesus (pbuh) went to Gethsemane he went because he did not want to be a sitting-duck for a clandestine arrest by the Jews. He prepares his disciples for the impending showdown. Discreetly, so as not to frighten his disciples, he introduces the subject of defence. Gently he begins:

"When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye anything?" And they said, "Nothing" Then said he unto them, "But now, he that hath no purse, let him take it, and likewise his bag; and he that hath no SWORD, let him sell his garment and buy one!"

(HOLY BIBLE) Luke 22:35-36

This is a preparation for Jihaad, a Holy War — Jews against Jews! Why! Why this somersault? Did he not advise them to "turn the other cheek"; "to forgive seventy times seven" (70 x 7 = 490)? Did he not send his chosen Twelve with the advice:

"Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; be ye, therefore, as wise as serpents, (?) and as
harmless as doves."

(HOLY BIBLE) Matthew 10:16

TO ARMS! TO ARMS!

The situation and the circumstance have changed and as with any wise and able general, the strategy must also change. The disciples were already armed. They had some foresight. They had not left Galilee with bare knuckles. They responded:

". . . Lord, behold, here are two SWORDS." And he said unto them, "It is enough".

(HOLY BIBLE) Luke 22:38

The missionary, so as to retain the impression of the "meek and gentle Jesus", "the Prince of Peace", pleads that the SWORDS were spiritual! If the swords were spiritual, then the "garments" must also be spiritual. If the disciples of Jesus were to sell their SPIRITUAL garments to buy SPIRITUAL swords, in that case they would all become SPIRITUALLY naked! Furthermore, one does not lop off peoples physical ears with spiritual swords —

"And, behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his SWORD, and
struck a servant of the high priests, and cut off his ear."

(HOLY BIBLE) Matthew 26:51

The only purpose of swords or guns is to maim and to kill. People did not carry swords to pare apples and bananas in the time of Christ.

If Mohammads (pbuh) actions were violent you have to also these were violent.

If this is self defence so was what the Prophet (pbuh) did!

You sound like you just got up from a deep sleep after drinking too much alchlhol and an overdose of mandrax.

Mohammed (peace be upon him) was a man of justice - yet a very very kind hearted person. He was the greatest person that ever lived !!!
