I have observed that today our church officials seem to be always present and questioning in all things the government does. I think its also a good thing that they interact. But sometimes, I believe they are going outside the border line.

I absolutely support their freedom of speech. I absolutely oppose the imposition of religious obligations through civil authority.

The Church is a Theocracy and believes that she has every right to make any authoritative statements anywhere. Her best judgements even though said without falsehood are often contradictory and are always open to interpretation and clarification. One must be mature in their belief and it is never a good position for anyone to accept blindly even what seems to be good and honest advice or direction. So on the one hand, it is good for the church to proclaim whatever she sees fit. On the other hand the individual has to receive what is pronounced in freedom and in one's best conscience.

There is - one must observe - 'an ideal position' which need to be adapted to many sticky pastoral situations - which often leaves the decision to the individuals' conscience.
