...What do you think about the 'informed' atheists here on YA? What I mean to say is, do you think that the group of atheists on YA (Who say that they are informed about the Great Tribulation even though they do not believe in it) will still deny the Tribulation even after the Rapture? They seem to be the sort that says,"If I witness the event, then I will believe in Jesus Christ." So, if they are as informed as they say they are, do you think they will believe in Christ if and when the Rapture occurs, or will they still think that it is some plague that coincidentally 'killed' every Christian in the world?

Trolling? I tried avoiding answers from atheists by stating, "A question for Christians", and yet, you guys answered. It was appropriate because of the section and because of the request I made - only for believers.

Not all non-Christians have heard of the rapture. I think those who have will be the first to convert afterward because they will know what happened. The rest will fall for some other explanation.

I believe the rapture will come after the tribulation so that scenario wouldn't apply. I do hope you pre trib guys are right.I certainly would rather not have to go through the tribulation period. I've heard enough preaching on it. I know it's the popular doctine on the subject. I'm watching for it because everyone seems to think it's gona happen that way but I think He's coming after the tribulation and every eye will see Him. If there is a pre trib rapture it probably wouldn't cause many to believe. The Bible said if one came back from the dead (which has happened) to warn them they would not believe. God bless!!!

I don't know what they are going to do in the Great Tribulation, but this I know:
There will be Christians in the Great Tribulation whom Antichrist will persecute. They have to come from somewhere after the Rapture.

So they are players in a really big game. And they don't know it now, but when the mountains are tumbling down, and a terrible man is in charge of the world, and demons come out of the Euphrates, and war is everywhere, and the water is undrinkable, and the Earth is on fire, and sounds are heard from heaven, and people seek death but cannot find it, and the sun is black, and the moon is red, they will wonder.

There is not universal agreement on the Rapture. I'd certainly LIKE to believe it, but I'm just not sure. In any event, whether it happens or not, most non-believers will still make excuses to justify not believing in God. They're simply not going to believe based on anything we say or that happens. When Judgment Day occurs, and Christ appears and judges each of us, then they will believe. But it will be too late.

There maybe some who turn to Christ after the Rapture, but most of them will not.

“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12) †

After the rapture, they will have no choice but to believe, since the rapture will occur AS Jesus makes his second appearance

Revelation 22:9-15
9.Then he said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.” 10 And he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand. 11 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”
Jesus Testifies to the Churches

12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”
14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

Wat ever they do....Let thm stay "Informed".....

I think that you are uninformed, because the idea of a "secret" rapture before the tribulation period is not clearly supported in scripture, and the idea was never even mentioned until the 1800's.

It Does not matter what I think, like the bible says, God has the last call on all things, who knows of tomorrow, and who knows the minds of man but God, and even after the rapture it will not be to late for those people that are not raptured. it is to late when Jesus decides to come back. the rapture is to be the greatest sign and testimony of God to all people because all people will witness it.

Well actually when that day happens some will still be decieved by the devil. The devil profresses himself to be the false Christ and some will still follow. There is although those that don't believe right now that will have a chance to be saved. But they will suffer through the famines and all the other things. But nobody knows when that day will come that is why you need to be saved now because no one is promised tomorrow.
