i have a schitzu and she's 1yr and 1 mth old(birthday- August 7th) ..she got her first "heat" in March '07. when does she get her 2nd one?

Have her spayed and you won't need to worry about it anymore!

Should have been in September. Might be a little late due to the fact that this is only her second. She'll settle out and come in every 6 mos.

She should come in heat any time now. It is usually about 6 months apart, but can vary a bit. This is the time to make the appointment for having her spayed.

Rule of thumb twice a year...every 6 months. You'll know! She'll try to get to other dogs more readily. Her vagina will swell up, and will bleed.
