Well if you're going by what it's made out of, it's an animal product that isn't dairy. So you could call it a meat. Meat is animal flesh, fish, beef, pork, chicken. Eggs are animal products...but not dairy, so I'd call group it with meat. It's an underdeveloped animal, an unfertilised egg.
