First, I'm going to buy lots of candy, then I'm going to carve pumpkins into scary faces with my kids, then we're going to bake the pumpkin seeds and then we'll eat some. Then I'll do the makeup and put together costumes for my children to wear, all the while watching my back because my 14 year old will be trying to sneak up and scare whoever she can. Then when they are all bundled up we'll set out to walk up and down the blocks knocking on door after door yelling "TRICK OR TREAT!" at which point someone will open the door and distribute said treats to all the children and comment on the cool costumes they are wearing and ask them "who are you dressed up as?" and so on and whatnot. Along the way we will be seeing and admiring other costumes and trying to see if one of the masked ninjas happens to be someone we know. Then the little ones will be tired and the big ones will be in a hurry to see all their treats so we'll go home and my husband and I will go thru the 'treats' to make sure they are safe while the kids pass out the candy I bought to other children still out. Then we'll put in a movie and trifle thru the candy with the kids. After the long night i'll go to bed and thank God for the wonderfull night I was able to spend with all my little candy loving blessings.

Worship Jesus and celebrate the fact that through His blood which was shed on the cross, the devil, (who loves the attention and glory given him on that night), has been defeated and disarmed!

Pray for the protection of children and others in danger of being sacrificed in ritual satanic abuse on that night.

Like any other day, do whatever the Holy Spirit leads.

Dressing up like Mickey Mouse for free candy...yes im 18...candy doesnt stop tasting good when your old! The way i see it trick or treating is just good clean fun for kids, as long as your not out practicing your sorcery lol hallween as it is celebrated today is fine by my book. I also dont think reading harry potter is a sin, its a fictional story you fanatics! unless kids try to cast spells on people, then it may be a problem. But its just as wrong as reading Cinderella if you think its wrong!

Best case scenario? I'm going to see Nightwish with my best friend, because I'll be HOME for the first time in almost three years.

Worst case scenario? I'll be here, in my apartment, probably listening to Type O Negative or Bauhaus (or both), by myself.

Harvest Party at church. Lots of games, candy & prizes. Much safer than being on the streets.

Same as always, turning off the lights, locking the doors and going off somewhere for a few hours.
