when you are hungry you will find anything you eat very tasty as if u have put on it the best sauce in the word

you can be smart - but only when you really work at something, get good at it, and can do it really well do you perform it well - that's when a hunger for success makes one person "better" than another.
A waitress who has a family to care for, a spouse out of work and a sick kid at home, knows she can get better tips if she is really helpful, nice, etc - so she uses the "hunger" for caring for her family responsibilities to help her do her job well.
On the American idol type programs, everyone sings well - but there are a couple of contestants who are "hungry" (sometimes it is different every night who is hungriest). They really want it.. you can see the difference in performance.
so when you take talent, skill, preparation, and application of everything you know, sometimes using "hunger" as a sauce on top makes the difference between who succeeds and who comes in second place.

It almost seems like it has something to do with psychology to me. "Sauce" is not only used for topping, it's used for dipping, holding things together, and flavoring. "Hunger" is what drives a person. Hunger keeps a person searching. Hunger needs to be fed. A person who is hungry, will not go stagnant and will always be taking in knowledge, friends, and whatever else needed to feed the hunger.

Means....
when your hungry enough, or starving, anything taste good.
i would say that this is in the catagory of 'trails' because it is about struggling to have enough to eat. People whom have fallen on hard times say things like that when they talk about how hungry they are.
This is much like the phrase....
"I'm so hungry I could eat a horse!"
Of course the person is not going to 'eat a horse'..... they are just letting you know that they are really really hungry.

What are sauces for? To alter the taste of something, make it taste better.
If you're hungry, everything tastes good. And it's not necessarily talking about food.

Another way to say it is, "Hunger is the best cook" (in German).
It means if you're hungry everything tastes better.

there is a saying i like "the longer you wait the more you'll apprecate"
it would probably go under food or waiting or patience
