i heard many ppl from this board saying stuff about the hospitatlity business, some say is hard work and low pay, some say is interesting, meet variety of ppl, good pay if work hard
i am really interest in the tourism and hospitality industry, willing to work hard and planning to get into universities
so i want to hear suggestion from ppl (serious answer only plz)

There are vast range of careers in hospitality and tourism. You can start at the bottom and work your way up or pursue education (or usually a combination of both). Your customer service orientation can carry over into other jobs and careers.
Some people suit customer service and some people don't. Some jobs are terrible. Imagine a busy business hotel where the rooms are terrible and the customers are just complaining day and night.
Or can be great, imagine working a singles holiday hotel on a tropical island.
You have opportunities to travel (working in a travel agency means cheap air tickets and usually free air travel some times).
But like anything else, this life may not be for you.

it really depends on the person. If you really enjoy making food and designing it then go for it. Best way to find out is to get a job at a resturant.

some one said bad or good depending what kind/type of the people why the said like that.
If you looking for the money, better you take the doctor or specialist career.
If you want enjoy your time with the people because of humanity its also a good option.
Well actually, you must decide because of yourself.
