the S connector on the laptop is an output so you can see computer pictures on a video monitor/TV set. It is not an input. The out from your video 8 camcorder is analog. you will need a capture card that converts it o a digital avi file for the computer to use. most capture cards come with bundled software to help with this.

I had this concern until now, somewhat the camcorder is purely too more suitable on your laptop, i.e your computers velocity and photographs are not adequate to have the skill to play it acceptable. you likely wont prefer to pay attention it yet on the time it purely surpassed off that i replaced into getting a sparkling laptop and it would desire to play them positive. although if i remember acceptable, i had the comparable prob with domicile windows media participant and so on and that i used a application referred to as VLC participant which you will receive unfastened and that i think of it may play the archives marginally extra useful. desire this helps.
