OK to clarify. How can anything someone were to do in a near ephemeral lifespan, warrant an eternal torture? Even serial murders, rapist, child molesters, or any other abominable blight to humanity shouldn't deserve eternal torture, should they? They might deserve to be completely obliterated if they truly were purely evil, having absolutely not a shred of good in them, but what constitutes such a person? however before I ramble too much I'll let you answer the question.
Also a bonus question to Christians if we do deserve an eternal torture them why isn't Jesus taking our place in hell?

Jesus died on the cross for our sins, it's your choice whether you accept Him or not.

The clock is ticking. Times running out. What will it be behind door number 3?
If there is no God then nothing to lose. If there is then better heed the warning. Jesus was very matter of fact about hell.

Did you really think that such a nonsensical concept could ever make sense. Listen to the rationalizations from the believers; they will come when you ask these type questions.

We were never meant to live a finite life, we were created to live forever.
Hell is eternal seperation from God - it is the validation of our choice to live our lives apart from God. God honors our choice by allowing us to live apart from him forever.
Since we were created to be in a relationship with God - intentionally severing this connection will be torture to us. We will "weep and gnash our teeth" as we internally contemplate how dreadful our disobedience on this earth was.
Jesus is not in hell because he is an infinite being and was able to fully pay the penalty for all of my sins in that one moment on the cross.
It's like I owe God more money than I can ever possibly repay no matter how hard I work, no matter how long I work - but Jesus has an unlimited credit line with God and he can cover all of my debts :)
That's why we ask God to "forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors" - we're asking God to forgive us and at the same time we will forgive people who wrong us.

Hell was not designed for us. We were never meant to die. But when we do, out soul must go somewhere, it can't go to God cause it would be destroyed being unholy, so the only other place is where God isn't, being hell.

That's what I can't comprehend! ETERNAL suffering for a measly 80 years?! For not believing God existed, even though He (if He exists) never gave us SOLID evidence!!! This is a LOVING God????
The only time we get SOLID evidence, is after we die, and it's too late!!

Fear and a desire for fairness and justice in the world. They can't seem to learn to accept that there is none.

Its like this man. If you reject the God that made you and gave you HIS life - the ONLY source of your salvation - how can He ever save you???????????????
You are drowning in a sea of sin and hanging onto a heavy stone. If God's ever gonna save you, LET GO OF THE STONE!

You are obviously aware of the option. No good going on about It. If you don't accept it you'll just have to wait and see.
