My personal trainer tells me to avoid 4 foods. They are:
1. Fully loaded baked potato because it equals 3 to 4 slices of bread which translates into a hefty 60 grams of carbs. The cheese, sour cream and butter are extra fat and calories to avoid as well.
2. Any Asian noodle dishes because they're just noodles with fattening oils and way too much sodium.
3. Oil. Just 5 tablespoons of oil is a whole 70 grams of fat or 600 calories, which is more than your fat quota for the whole day.
4. Liquor and beer are tons of excess calories. Also, your body doesn't use alcohol's calories as fuel, it just stores the excess as flab, especially around the abs.
But you should never deny yourself anything. If you have a craving, have a little of what you want in MODERATION. Food should be fun and enjoyable, not a prison, ya know?
Also, don't starve yourself. Even if you do lose a lot of weight really fast by not eating, you gain it all back really fast when you do start eating again because your body is trying to hold on to the fat storage for the next food shortage.
Oh, and being active every single day for at least 30 minutes doing whatever can help too. You'll be suprised with all the weight you lose just walking a little more.
Hope this helped!

Try to stay away from Pasta & Breads as MUCH as possible. Don't eat between meals. And AVOID weighing yourself on the bathroom scale any more than ONCE a week (people tend to go OFF their diets more often -when they WEIGH themselves too often!.).

You need to stay away from bread and pasta items that are not whole grain and stay away from prepackaged foods as those often contain lots of additives and sodium etc.
