I've been having terrible reoccurring dreams about my teeth rotting/breaking/falling out. Sometimes I even pull them out myself, and the dream is so vivid I can actually feel the tooth sliding out of my gums when I pull on them. I've had the dream probably a dozen times in the last month in a half.

I didn't think it was so strange until a friend called me a told me I came to her in a dream and I was crying because I didn't have any teeth. I had never told her about these dreams I was having, so I think it's SO WEIRD that she had one too.

What's going on here? lol

When you have a recurring dream, it means that your subconscious is desperately trying to convey a message to you. You must not be getting the message, since it keeps happening. Your subconscious then contacted your friend via her dream in another attempt to get the message across.

Loosing teeth is a sign of loss of power, effectiveness, strength. Think about what has been happening in your waking life in the past month that may have affect your loss of control over things in some way.

I agree, that is really weird that she saw you in the dream without teeth, after the dreams you've been having. But when interpreting dreams I steer away from dream dictionaries and the like. If this type of dream were something that happens commonly and it were proven through studies that there is a common denominator between the dreamers, then maybe I would go for that. But mostly, dreamers are unique individuals (we all are) that attach different meanings to different things, depending upon their own life experiences.

I would say that your dental history could play a role, depending on what kind of dental work you have had done in the past, and whether you are taking good care of your teeth or not. That could be a real anxiety for you, that you are less aware of on a conscious level.

But teeth could represent your appearance in general, or even the way that others perceive you (the way you feel that they perceive you). So it could be a social anxiety that you are dealing with. No matter which interpretation is correct in your specific case, I would say confidently that this is a dream that is rooted in anxiety of some form or another.

As for why your friend had the corresponding dream, that could be for a variety of reasons that we just don't have an answer for. There's an outside chance that she is just very perceptive, and that your relationship with her is closer than you may realize. But personally, I think that there could have been an exchange of information on a spiritual level. If this were so, it certainly wouldn't be the first time it's happened.

Teeth -
Normally an unfavorable sign in a dream. It signifies displeasure and also shows that you are afraid of losing someone dear to you.

I also had a dream sort of likes yours a few months ago, were i could actaully feel my tooth coming out, but it didn't hert or anything. But I don't ever have the case were all my teeth fall out though.

It could mean alots of different things...but i found it on this site. They also have other dream terms too.

I believe your spiritual phenomenon with you appearing in you friends dream to be an example of astral projection. Both your souls are definately connected in some way, which is why you are friends in the first place. You don't have to believe this, but it's what I believe as a spiritual person.

Back to your dream......Dreams of teeth falling out suggest loss of a relationship, loss of someone or loss of something important, the fact that you feel your teeth sliding means that the lose could affect you in a major way emotionally.

You going to your friend in a dream means that in real life you are going to seek her out to overcome your loss. She will be instrumental in helping support you emotionally.

I'm no expert but I think because you care so much for your teeth your just dreaming about your fears (your afraid of losing your teeth). If you are a believer of dreams telling the future, maybe you'll lose alot of teeth.

maybe you should go to the dentist for a check up. It certainly wouldn't hurt and just may put your mind at ease or you may have as yet an undiagnosed dental problem. Good Luck!
