Or is this just a testing ground for what "not" to say to unbelievers? Do we Christians really think that what we say here makes a difference to those who don't believe?

For me...I just think this forum gives non-believers even more reason to try to twist things around. If we really care, let's pray for those we see who mock us. That is where the real power is.

I certainly appreciate your attitude. I have no problem with people that share different views or beliefs from me and wishes well upon me. I, personally, do not believe in a God or religion, but I certainly wish well for other people... just not through prayer. I hope that if I'm wrong one day, that whoever judges me understands that my faith is in my friends and family and that I did my best to help others get what they want.

I'd always welcome a solid discussion with you in hopes that we can enlighten each other, without any intent on expecting the other to convert to a new belief system.

Nice post.

I certainly have more compassion for Him, especially when Christians fight amoung each other, I often wonder what does He feel? and I literally wince at the thought of it. Words hurt, man. They really do. And the insulting disgusting references some people use on perfectly innocent questions, I just feel acid coming up my throat when I see that. It is SO unnecessary. It doesn't happen very often, but man it does happen. Otherwise, it is like children in a sandbox. For those whom I perceive have their wits about them, I let them know if they've crossed the line. They are usually quite gracious. You'd be surprised at the graciousness that some of the people on this board have. True, it's like hunting for the rare Pine Nut Mushroom, but once you know where to go and what to look for, you find more and more and more.

There will come lost souls looking for answers and if all true believers let the instruments of the devil run us off, then they have free reign. Sometimes it is very draining (because of content) reading some of the Q and A's, so we need to keep the faith. To be able to be unaccountable for what you say to people this is the perfect forum for the devil.

1 Peter 5:8 - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

1 Peter 4:14 - If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

People can't, don't, won't come to ..... Love Jesus through Yahoo Answers... I assume you are a born again christian. You need to understand that it is through and by the Holy Spirit, that a person 'comes to Love Jesus'. First a person has to believe. When they have received, then they can know about Loving Jesus. Some christians give the unintended impression they are talking at others, instead of with. Answer questions, or ask questions and be youself. If you have just been being youself, and I gather you want to get others to hear and accept what you say about Jesus, then you need to accept what others responses to that might be. The Holy Spirit draws people to Jesus.

This forum is not about Jesus Christ..it is a place to discuss religions, spirituality, or the lack thereof. Anything regarding these concepts belongs on this board. I, for one, am learning a lot on this board. I am also saving my family and friends a big headache because now I don't annoy them with debates, I can just do that to you guys. ;)

I love Jesus too. I became Saved through the Grace of God. I try to spread the Words of God as often as I can, but some people can be so rude according to others beliefs.

Yes, I did! I had turned my back on God.. I was a profound atheist! But, some answeres made me think! There is forgiveness! And I hate to sound goofy, but God dealt with me through Y.A. He welcomed me home!

The Lord said to Moses...." Say to them: The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you;the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace."
