and some may NOT care.... I just found out that these are the words from the verse that are the exact middle of the Bible.... Maybe it was just me that needed to hear these words... but, anyway...... Psalms 118:8 * It is better to trust God than to put confidence in man*.......... rememinded me that God is in the middle of it all and in control....... go in peace..... God bless

Amen sister. Even I have fallen short of where I put my faith more in man rather than God. Thank you for that reminder tonight.

Hmm, I always thought is was 117, but I was wrong.

Psalm 117 is the shortest chapter in the Bible; "1 Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples! 2 For His merciful kindness is great toward us, and the truth of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord!"

118 is the middle chapter and your above stated verse is the middle of the Bible.

Also, did you know that 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible with 176 verses.

Praise the Lord!

Yes; but, did you know that the shortest chapter in the Bible is Psalms 117, and the longest chapter in the Bible is Psalms 119. And the center of that being Psalms 118 and that being also the center of the Bible! Also, there are 594 chapters before Psalms 118 and there are 594 chapters after Psalms 118.

Trust God to keep your secret? Trust me, it is better not to tell anyone. The government may hear you.

yes, i did know.
although i am not of the christian faith, i do believe that there is only one divine omnipotent mysterious all knowing entity most commonly referred to as "god".
In one of my meditation books that i try to read on a daily basis, my favorite says,
"God has never let me down, where i have let myself down quite alot"

Blessings to you

The Bible also says that a disobiediant wife should be caned. It's full of such gems. Amazing how people take what they want and leave the rest....
