Im just curious what the overall opinion is on tattoos, Im currently thinking about getting one myself. Still throwing around the idea of it though. If I do I want to get something similiar to the link below. I would also like to get some thoughts on it if I could, for those that do enjoy tattoos is it to much? Im not to big of a fan of alot of random tattoos spread about but always thought something like this would be cool. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I think tattoos are hot but not all guys look hot with tattoos. The one that you picked seems like one that screams for attention and people with big tattoos usually show it off.It can be compared with a female, who gets a breast augmentation/bigger boobs and prances around in sexy attention-grabbing outfits, showing them off to the world.Nothing wrong with getting attention.Everyone likes attention but the degree of attention really differs from person to person.I know a guy with lots of tattoos on his neck, abs, back, leg, even his entire arm covered up like a make-shift sleeve. He did mention that his tattoos are sometimes a conversation starter with curious women asking him about his tats or complimenting them but that wasn't his main intent of getting tattoos. He designs his own tattoos and was a former tattoo artist, so I think it's more an expression of art than any other reason. If you have a chiseled body, I think having a big tattoo would draw some attention away from the body or even turn-off some hot women, who don't like tattoos. So a hot body alone will appeal to them.If it's that "bad boy" edgy look that sometimes comes with tattoos that you're aiming for or to help boost confidence or you just like tattoos or whatever your reason is, think it through before you get one.I would try to sketch a personalized tattoo, instead of a pre-designed one, because one that you design yourself is more unique.Personally, I prefer guys that don't have tattoos but if he can pull off the look, then go for it!

There will always be the more conservative element of society that will look down on anything that isn't mainstream. But who cares what those stuck up snobs think anyway? For me, tattooed girls (or people for that matter) fall into two categories: Type 1) The trashy, mish-mashed, poorly done tattoos with no coherent theme or meaning. You know, the ones that look like you got them when you were drunk, and the joker who did it was probably drunk too. I tend to look at this person as likely being similar to the body art they wear. Type 2) The elegant, ornate, artistic tattoos that are well done and have a meaning or theme. I look at those people as likely being similar to the body art they wear as well. Since I'm not into trashy chicks, I tend to avoid the former. However, the latter is not only interesting, but very attractive to me. I also like it when it is extreme. If you're gonna get tats, go for the full back or the full sleeve. Now that's hot! I once saw a girl who had a vine of thorns that started at the wrist, wrapped up the arm, around the torso, and down the opposite leg. That was incredibly sexy!

The tattoo that you're thinking of getting is way too big and ugly. Why don't you get a smaller one? Every single person that I know who has tattoos regret getting them and if you get that tattoo you'll more than likely regret it. They're there forever and it costs thousands of dollars to get them removed and even then you'll never get rid of the scar. I hope that you think long and hard about getting a tattoo and just don't get one on an impulse.
In my personal opinion, I think that too many tattoos look gross 1 or 2 (small ones) is ok, but i still prefer somebody that doesn't have tattoos. Some women really like them some hate them.

I think tattoos are pretty hot.
BUT, if you were to get one i suggest you should give a good long thought on it cause this is something that would stick forever(unless you do lasering which is of course is gonna cost a bomb..and pain again)
You'll get the attention from girls, but sometimes after a while you may get sick of it. And all the attention might get annoying, honestly.Been there, done that.
Get a tattoo with meaning, then you'd probably have a slimmer chance of regretting you did it in the future.

Hope that helps(:

I think it's really, really hot, but there are some things you have to take into consideration:

For a tattoo like that, you'd have to have a pretty nice body. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but if you have a gut it would just draw attention to that. But on any average or ripped body... That's fine. lol

Also, that tattoo is pretty big. Big commitment. If you don't have any tattoos now... I don't know. I think it's just a pretty radical change.

In general, though, I love tattoos, and I think they're incredibly sexy. Go for it.

Good luck!

You should be happy with what best describes you. BUT, seeings how you are asking a girls opinion, that tattoo is not at all attractive to me. I think a small tattoo going around the arm IS SO FREAKING HOT! but that's just my opinion. Get something that best fits you and make sure you will like it for life!

In general, getting a tattoo is kind of dumb because it's permanent and people change. What was cool at age 18 usually isn't at 40. And tattoos on a wrinkly 65+ year old are all distorted and just kind of "ew." Tattooing for the dead is specifically forbidden in the Bible. And depending on your career and the location of the tattoo, you might find yourself constantly having to cover it up. Yes, the tattoo in the picture looks pretty cool, but it only makes sense to me if you're a rock star or something where tattoos are expected and almost required. You'd have to love attention to wear a big tattoo like that. Or be really into body art. If you're uncertain about getting a tattoo they have come out with a new version that much easier to remove than the traditional ink.

tattoos have become more acceptable in the past few years. My opinion, is to not do it. My son (27) has several, even a heart Mom tat, while it is very flattering, I would rather him not have done that. I know he loves me. At the very least, put the tat on a part of your body that isn't always exposed. for some future employers it might put a negative strike on your possible employment. that said...I have several male friends and a few female who have numerous tats, I don't like them any more or any less, I like them as the nice people they are. as a girl, tat's are fascinating, there is a story behind each one, some are painful and some are for celebration. that is how the individual chooses to express themselves.

If you want one go for it. It's your body and the only opinion that matters is yours in the end. I love them when done in an artistic sense and thought was put into them. Liking tattoos or not is a matter of personal taste. I have two tattoos myself, they aren't gay or ugly or slutty or lower class if you aren't that way to begin with. If it has meaning to you and isn't openly offensive then it's awesome. Do it for yourself if you do it.
