What are the areas in brain,both human and non-human, responsible for 'honesty'?

If the answer is already found, why the world scientists are not conducting gene correction to imbibe 'honesty' in every living brain?

I believe honesty is a value that is under control of an individual. It has something with the moral of the individual and in no way related to genetic factors.

I would suggest that limbic system in the "middle" brain has something to do in value formations correlating that such part of the brain houses the basic elemental drives, emotions, and survival instincts.
