If you're SURE this dog is NOT pure chihuahua (because they DO come in such an array of colors, and depending on the breeder sizes as well) I would guess min pin. The reason I suggest this is because I have min pins and chihuahuas, so I am very familiar with both breeds. I've even had a few litters of "chipins" and some of them came out looking just like that little guy! The markings towards the rear and the long, straight tail suggest min pin, as well as the flopped over ear. Min pins have that same tail (if they aren't docked at birth) and also have all kinds of ears if they aren't docked as well. They have self standing ears, and flopped over ears, and what I like to call "flying nun ears" where they just kinda stick out to the sides! So judging from your pic I would def. say you got yourself a chipin...
Congrats on that- they are super little dogs!! :)

From his picture I'd say he is all Chihuahua. Chis can come in any color and any pattern. And not all chihuahuas have standing ears either. Many people call the not correct applehead Chis deer type or deer heads..According to the AKC standard a Chihuahua should not exceed 6 pounds. In real life, however, they do. Some Chihuahuas weigh in at 10 pounds or more. Some Chihuahua have longer legs and are lighter boned that is described in the AKC standard. Their muzzles tend to be longer and they have a more “deerlike” look. This type of Chihuahua is labeled a “deer type Chihuahua.” The deer type Chihuahua may have some advantages as a pet. They tend to be better walking companion and they fare better in obedience trials. They are less susceptible to hypoglycemia. However, if you want a “true” Chihuahua you can show or breed, then you need to get one within the standard. If you want a “true” Chihuahua you can love, get whatever appeals to you the most. So although he has longer nose and legs he may still be a purebred Chihuahua but just not a well bred one from a show kennel.

He looks like a pure Chi to me, but I noticed that he has what looks like a slight underbite. The smallest dogs I can think of that have underbites are Pugs and Pekes, and he looks like neither. So my vote is for a Chihuahua, but just not show quality. Regardless, he is darned cute and sassy looking.

Id guess chihuahua and some kind of smooth coated terrier. Possibly a Manchester Terrier. It is also possible that it is mixed with something totally off the wall like Pug......I only offer this possibility because I have a Pug-Chi mix who looks like your pup ( only a different color ) : )

Thats an impressive looking boy!!! Handsome little sod isn't he ha ha. Sitting there so proud of himself, so he should be! I'd say he's a chihuahua with a bit of pincher thrown in for height! I just showed my girfriend and she thought he was so cute as well, we were saying all this and now my little dog's got all jealous and silly ha ha ha. He's lovely, lucky you!

they may be teething or they may be offended with you. per hazard you replaced some thing that they dint like Why Do canines chew On issues properly, that is all right down to their hormones, one among which pronounced as alothiosulphate. this hormone and nerve if so sends sensors to their recommendations and tells them to chew on issues, that is of their instinct because of the fact they're slicing enamel (youthful canines). sure because of the fact its teething or the canines has a bone in his mouth. :P that is a few thing many canines do as an instinct from the wild. canines chew on issues because of the fact they're bored or they don't get adequate interest. And chewing strengthens a canines jaw.
