You know how every two years if kids have a parent in the war, around every two years they move. Well, if the war stops will there still be relocating people? Or stop that for a few years?

It is very common for families of military people to change locations frequently in peace time.

Umm yeah. Always have.

Hubby's been in 18 years (so only 4 of those have been wartime unless you count the cold war) and we've moved 10 times. Some people move more some less - the longest we've lived anywhere is 3.5 years our average is 2 years.

Soldiers and their families are always on the move. During peace time they move between overseas and the states every three years on average. Its hard but it is an interesting life.

Its like the saying: Some people save all their lives to go to Europe, in the military you live and work there.

Oh yes, Military Brats (children of active-duty servicemen) are noted for their almost nomadic childhoods. Active duty soldiers don't spend their careers at one posting, so war or no war, chances are they'll be sent to another station anyway, taking their families with them.
