I know i'm thinking WAY too far ahead, but when I move out i've decided to get a Siberian Husky puppy. (Yes i've given this alot of thought, and thanks to anyone who answered my dog breed question the other day, and I'm getting him from a reliable breeder) Probably a male, female names are appreciated, however.
I want-
- An Original name, none of this 'balto' 'nanook' 'chinook' business. Nor things like Max, socks etc.
-Something powerful, with a good meaning behind it, or a nice ring.
-I love foreign names.
-The weirder the better!

When my husband and I got our Husky it was a tossup between Joaquin and Phoenix. Yes we love the actor by the way. Joaquin is very unique. Phoenix won out though.
One thing that helps me in finding names is going through baby name websites. You can usually find the meanings along with the names.
Best wishes! I always wanted a Husky and had to wait until I got my own house!

Dirty Sanchez, but only if it's a male.
Chukchi is the name of the people who presumably first domesticated Huskies in Siberia.

After my parents came back from a trip to alaska and learned that "Pakuk" was an eskimo word that meant "behave youself, or straighten up or fly right" I named my Keeshond Pakuk (pronounced Pa Cook)
she was the best dog I've ever owned..

you have got plenty of really cool names,so i am noy going to make this decision harder.
but first, before you choose a name and get ready, stop and think.
it is always better to first see the dog and then name it.he could have some abslutely adorable characteristic, and u could name him after it!
and btw,congrats on the pup!!
:-)
