Why do men relieve themslves in full public view? Why can't control themselves. Don't they have any dignity?

Not only does this make walking on the roads unbearable,It also spreads diseases.

Also the paan spits! thanks for reminding. By the way, rotting, bacteria multiplying things do spread diseases, air borne diseases don't they?

Relieving themselves, spitting, clearing throats, blowing noses, whatever they do is within limit of civilization for them. Thank God couple of things are considered private even by these people (I hope that continues to remain so!) otherwise you would have to wear side visors like horse in a tonga!
Answer to 'why' is that they don't find anything wrong or awkward in doing this. There is absolutely no consideration for others' feelings.
What remains is to look the other side (hopefully not to find someone engaged there too) & remember the prayer of serenity- accept what you can't change!

Um, well urine can't spread diseases. If you know a place where men defecate in public, I'd say find a new country.

Concepts of dignity are arbitrary. If they're not offended by the sight then they will have no comprehension or concern for the possibility that you are. If you don't like it, look away.

It's actually quite an easy thing to do, to look away. It's also quite an easy thing to do to mind your own business. There is no moral aspect here, in fact there usually isn't. Why are you so bothered by people that I'm sure you are too indignant to even interact with or make relevant to your life, that you would even bother to ask the question here?

Though personally, I've never urinated in public.

In India sanitation side much needs to be done.There are no rest rooms even in some big hotels.There are no restrooms in Public places, in places of heavy traffic of pedestrians.Even if there are one are two that are not in a usable condition and you can not even stand before it for a second...you will vomit.


So the elderly people who are diabetic or who can not no more retain it will have to discharge as it is a natural urge and there no other way.

There is no Mal intention in doing so in most cases.

Lack of civic sense too is a small factor .

Government and local bodies shall provide amenities and end force law.Without providing any thing you can never enforce any law.

I have lived in a great number of countries and have first hand knowledge of what you are complaining about. I don't know where you live/are from, but no where else have I SEEN people engage in this filthy act more then in Africa. Where I have just returned after spending the better part of four years working and living. Even in African cities, you can't walk down a single street without being over powered by the stinch.

I won't attribute this horrid behavior to gender, geographic location, class, tribe, cultural normes, or even race! I think it comes down to the very nature of the individual..... Demonic nature will manifest in Demonic behavior.

Urine is not known to spread disease. But men relieving themselves in public means:
1. They have had a lot of beer
2. They are older and can't hold it
3. The culture allows it
4. They are under the influence of other drugs and alcohol

P.S. Women also have been known to do this, too... maybe squatting in certain areas.

I can totally relate to you thoughts on this matter. I once pulled my car into a mini mart store to see a gentleman urinating right there in the parking lot. My girlfriend and her 6 year old daughter was in the car with me and seen it as well. The reaction from my girlfriend was of shock then disgust. It made me so angry I decided to confront the guy. He ended up with a bloody lip and I got my leg pissed on!!!

I only know that the inner city bums will pee on the walls at night. Hey they can't help it because they have nowhere to go.

If I have to pee outside I would usually go in the woods. What would you do on a camping trip?

Ok! men r doing because its animal nature and easy. Women cud not because its not easy.
Don't worry our society is progressing and women are not going to lag any more. Creative people are experimenting with new devices which enable women pee in standing position. Women catch up very soon and compete with men in that spere too.
