And that they serve no purpose apart from procreation -and what kind of a goal is that?
Reproducing, as the meaning of life. A goal for rabbits, for sheep, not for me.
And yet it is good enough for most. To wait, to wait for something to come, to save them, something that does not exist, something that does not come.
So keep on giving birth while standing on your graves, waiting like sheep. As for me I'm going to question everything and laugh at it all. :)

"something that does not exist".....I didnt realize someone on Yahoo answers had all knowledge to make a definitive statement.....Even the most powerful (sane) of men financially or otherwise would never state this.....then again thank whatever one believes in that Yahoo answers was "created" by some intelligent source.....or is that usless too??.....or are you attempting in some feeble way to upset some and impress others??.....do you question everything including why you are here at yahoo or here at all in this world?.....ya need a new soapbox sport...cause as your statement also uses words as....reproducing & keep on giving birth....were your parents useless and you happened to appear......now that I can laugh and believe in.

So questioning everything and laughing is useful?

I am not against either by the way...I am all for questioning things and laughter.

But what makes you more useful and others useless?

I think that nobody on this earth just wants to procreate and then die....we are not salmon.

Simple. All I do, have done, and will do *is* worthless in The Grand Scheme Of Things - but it's not at all worthless to me or the people who love me. Things are worth what value you give them. In 100 years nobody will remember me and I'll be food for the worms, but I'll have lived the best life I could, and done the best I could, and since ultimately I'm the only one I'll ever have to answer to, I'll be OK with that.

Useless, sure. But why waste your life when you can spend it partying your a** off, having a blast, as well as trying to improve what you leave behind? After all, it's the only life you will ever get. When it ends, it's all over.

Useless or not, who really cares? Either way, you'll still be here living life until you start pushing up the daisies. Why not enjoy it the best way you know how?

Ecc 6:7 All the labour of man [is] for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.

That is why you should remember this:

One mortal life will soon pass
What's done for God alone will last.

Actually the things I have done in the name of Jesus Christ are just the opposite of useless. It is treasure stored up in heaven, as He spoke of.

I can face it. It doesn't bother me at all. Much of what I've done has been useless, although many have found it amusing and diverting.
