ROFLMFAO. Yeah, 85% of the population, including the nation's leader, is being persecuted.

Methinks those good Christians who answered this have no idea of the meaning of the term "persecution".

I just LOVE the misuse and misunderstanding of the word "persecuted". You want to meet someone who's been persecuted? Go find someone who survived the Nazi death camps - some of these folks are still alive.

Go talk to the people of Darfur - they'll tell you about persecution.

Go speak tot he pygmies - who are treated like animals, even having their limbs cut off and EATEN by soldiers who consider them no better than a pig, not a human being. They'll happily discuss persecution with you.

Oh no, the mean little atheists hurted my wee little feelings online - I'm persecuted! BULLCRAP!

You haven't lost house, job, credibility, personal freedom, family or your own life over something said online - or even in person.

Get over it already. This whining and crying and purposeful misuse of words is disgusting and you, as adults, should be ashamed of yourselves.

Christian behavior indeed!

Have there been Atheists (not Pagans) that have persecuted anyone in the history of mankind? Has there ever been someone from whom we had to defend ourselves because of his extreme use of Reason?

Here is a specific example of how some special interest atheists are pushing things too far

In Utah they wanted to honor the death of some policemen by putting up crosses on the site they died. Utah is mostly mormon and the city councilmen that wanted to do this were all mormon. Mormons dont use the cross in any type of religious services or in any type of worship whatsoever. You will never find a cross in any mormon churches or hanging on any mormons, so clearly, esp to these councilmen, the crosses were just a symbolic historical sign that showed that someone gave their life here. Had nothing whatsoever to do with religion.
An atheist group sued the city claiming seperation of church and state demanding that the crosses should be taken down and that the city has no right using a religious symbol with taxpayers money.

So yeah, special interest atheist groups are pushing their agenda to the point of idiocy in some parts of the country.

1) Atheists have been fighting with Christians in America by trying to keep the word God out of our public prayers
2) Forbidding the ten commandments on displayed on public view whether public or private land
3) Vile Christianity into the political forum or into the Government realm
4) On Yahoo Q&A ; people that are atheists ask questions about Spiritual & Religion and when they receive a reasonable and logical reply they vote it with thumbs down and vote thumbs up to other atheist reply. Figure that one out?
AND THERE ARE MANY, MANY MORE EXAMPLES.

WHY ARE YOU ATHEISTS ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT GOD OR RELIGION WHEN YOU DON'T REALLY WANT TO HEAR (READ)?

BECAUSE I AM CHRISTIAN I WILL BE ANSWERING WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT TO YOUR BELIEFS PRAYING THAT I MIGHT CONVERT AN ATHEIST LIKE YOU INTO THE SPIRITUAL WORLD OF JESUS CHRIST! GOD BLESS! AMEN! SHALOM!
