why don't you know what seeding is.

You been usingf torrent for how long?

Interesting when you complete a download from what ever site you got the torren they would like you too share it with otthers thjat is the seeding process and that needs too be done because if you don't share then everyone that downloads torrents would take the downlosad and remove it then no one would get it faster.

see when there is alot of seeders then you get it quiker and I know you want too contribute too the process if you do then others will follow then it will take less time too download get it.

Let put it this way if you see 5 seeders and 100 leechers the seeders are the ones leaving the movie or file on so other get it.

The leechers are the ones you see downloading and just turning off the download.

I have a file that I made and i was a seeder bec ause it was mine but when others download it they get it frm me then when they share they are seeders.

Just so you know that movie sucks.

Seeding is the act of sharing the file once it has been downloaded. You, personally, get no benefit from seeding. However, seeders are what makes bit torrent work. If you don't seed your completed files other people will not be able to download them. Some bit torrent trackers ban you if you do not seed at their required ratio.

Seeding never stops UNTIL you close the torrent client.

Do you want to control multiple torrents? Click the ones that finished downloading, click STOP.

Then -- just to be safe -- browse to the location on your hard drive. CHANGE THE FOLDER NAME OR FILE NAME.

If it is locked, then use Unlocker, a shareware available from Softpedia.

You can also control the Upload speed. Right click on the torrent, click Properties. Leave the download at 0 (meaning infinite bandwidth). Change the upload speed to a number like 2.

OK?

Seeding is when you now share the pieces of file back to others, this is how the file sharing concept works.

Ideally wait till the ratio it shows is 1.00 or higher. Other left it open seeding for you to download, be courteous and do the same for the next group.

if ratio is above 1, simply read the user guide for you client to find out how to STOP the seed. Should be a STOP button

Seeding is 'giving back to community', now you have the file, you should share it to other.

Nothing to worry about.

Not sure about BitTorrent, but with uTorrent you can set when to stop the seeding process ( what ratio or how much time elapsed). Look in Options or Preference or Settings or something similar in BitTorrent for similar thing.
