I've booked through Orbitz for a lot of national flights, and I've just booked my first international flight! I'm crossing my fingers on that one, BUT has anyone ever booked any of the extras through a third party, specifically Orbitz? Tours, outings etc?

Yes, a few. Travelocity, Expedia, Hotelclub.com, and Asiarooms.com You have to check around for the best price if you are price conscious and most of us are, I would think. Try Kayak.com or Sidestep.com to compare, they are travel search engines. I have been traveling to Asia alot in the past few years for vacation and Expedia and Orbitz just don't have the connections. For Europe I would imagine Expedia and Orbitz work. And many times to Asia I book directly with the airlines. For outings and tours, sometimes I think it would be best to compare. In europe find the Grayline tours or something similar there. Or keep asking questions here for feedback if you are unsure.

Good luck
