How do I get a sponsor for a trip and WHO SHOULD I ASK?

I know how to get money, but now I found out I could get a sponsor for my trip to Italy inly problem is it is $2,800. Who should I ask and how much should I ask from them?

Ask several different people, if you go to church you could ask several different people. If you go to school, ask your teachers and staff. If you ask many people to sponsor and they say yes, they don't have to sponsor you for very much, making it easier for you to get more sponsors.

Go to the Italian Consulate and ask if they will sponsor you.
