Personally I found that once over the side effects it left me flat.

No longer stressed and crying, but no happiness either, just sortr of emotionless.

Couldn't wait to get off it once the problems causing my need for zoloft were resolved! Was told it would take up to 6 months to wean myself off it, I was off it in 2 weeks!

About six weeks after starting the meds...if the dose is right, you should be feeling the effects of the med (depends on why you're taking them). If it's for depression & the dose is right, you should feel the depression lifting. If not...talk to the doc. You may have to up the dose or try something different.

Good luck & hang in there. It takes patience to get it right but it's so worth it.

Better than you did before the med. Most take six sometimes eight weeks for full results. If you haven't seen a difference yet give it a couple more weeks. If still not better talk with your physician.

What it should do is relieve the physical pain of the depression so you're able to think with more clarity and less pain.
