Don't stop searching and calling for her, she knows YOUR voice. She will get tired and hungry and may land in somebody elses yard so post signs everywhere, take an add out in the paper, offer a reward if you can. I'm sad to say she cannot survive on her own in most places. Please keep looking. And yes, she's thinking about you, she always does, you're her family.

Probably so, because in a few days she'll probably show up at or near someones home...in the hopes of getting fed or getting some attention. Check the local classifieds in your area to see if anyone has found your bird, and also put out your own classified stating that you lost your African Grey...Im pretty sure you will get a response. Most birds do return after flying away, though most rarely to their original owners because of their inability to know where exactly they originated from. I'll take some leg work on your part to actually track him down. Good Luck on finding him!

African Grays are very smart animals - they are actually known to be one of the smartest birds out there, if not the smartest.
I'm she she was thinking of you today. I hope she's safe, and I hope you find her soon! Just stand outside whenever you can and call her, hopefully she'll hear and come right home.
If you're really worried, ask around if people have seen her, check shelter websites like petfinder.com, and put up signs with rewards [remember how greedy people are]. Try putting out a stand with her favorite treats on it, supervised so that way other pests won't get on it, and see if she'll come home. Check your local shelters, too! :)
Good luck!

Whether she is thinking about you or not isn't the main question you should be asking. Your question should have been:
"Help Lost African Grey. What can I do to find her???"
Go to this website:

Click the "Helpful Tips" link. Start putting the suggestions into action right away.
BTW. I feel bad for you, and I would be sick and crying too if I were in your position. I have an African Grey too. I really hope you can find her.

i know for a fact she is thinking about you, they are that smart. my mother in law says that mine is completely quiet when im gone but as soon as he hears the car he goes in a screaming, whistling fit. as soon as we come in, he flies to my head and starts wolf whistling and kissing me. wouldnt do that if he didnt miss me. please dont loose hope. have faith and keep searching because if you give up hope your chances of finding him will lessen.
