I have scoured the web, and I can not find the camera raw plug in for Adobe Photoshop 7.0 anywhere. The only ones available for download from Adobe.com are the newer plug ins for Photoshop CS (the newest being camera raw 4.2). I have found links to what used to be the plug ins for Photoshop 7.0, but the link is broken and the page no longer exists.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can someone tell me where I can download the camera raw plug in for Photoshop 7.0?!?!?! I use Photoshop as my primary image editing software and I need to be able to edit my RAW files from my Canon XTi using Photoshop 7. Right now it recognizes neither the *.CR2 (Canon proprietary) nor the Adobe-converted *.dng (digital negative) files.

Please help! Thanks!

You're right, finding a camea raw plugin for Photoshop 7 seems impossible. Even if you could find an older page and download, the plug-in would most likely not recognize the new Canon camera you are using anyway.

It might just be time for you to upgrade. CS3 is Version 10 which means you still qualify for the upgrade pricing. If you wait another version, then Adobe usually does not allow upgrades.

CS3 is very good, as is CS2, etc. and they are far superior to Version 7.

Available from amazon.com for only $195.99 USD and free shipping in the US. Not bad.

This should be the file you need. IF not, go to this link and try some of the others listed.
