I am stuck on getting a idea for a starting paragraph and i cant get it.. any idea.. here is some of what i have to talk about.. i not looking for answers just a idea for a first paragraph...

compare and contrast the two and come up with 3 points that you can find good info on and use that as you thesis statement. maybe you can start it with Jesus and Mohammed have both been the main icon for the world 2 biggest religions. Both have similar and different philosophies, purpose, and histories. Also a quote is my favorite way to start a paper

I would divide it into parts of their lives and the differences there.
Like Jesus did miracles and name some
Miracles that Muhammad did and name some
Claims that Muhammad made about himself
Claims that Jesus made about himself
How Jesus proved who he was
How Muhammad proved who he was.
Muhammad was married and to a 6 year old
Jesus never married
I would deal in detail with subjects and compare the two..

You could try giving a quote from both people that sort of summarize how they lived their lives and their general beliefs. Then take it from there. Quotes tend to have a more dramatic effect on a papers start.

Jesus tried to get people to change their behavior and got tacked up. He was a loser, a Roman Emperor formed the Roman catholic church for political purposes and it was successful.
Mohammad played to the existing power structure and base desires of his people and was a huge financial and political success.

What are the odds that either one was real. Mohammad was just a boy who had been orphaned and raised by his uncle. Jesus was God born by a virgin that he got pregnant. Hmm.
