ok i just dropped my camera and its a canon powershot sd100 but anyways. the ring part on the lens got dented then it fell off and the thing that opens and closes [i guess its called a screen protector] is broken...any sugestions?.

buy another one and dont drop it, warrentys dont cover "abuse"

When the lense is trying to move, try forcing it straight so it can move. I did that for a while with my old camera when I dropped it. I developed a fine art of helping my lense move along.

That camera is now a paperweight. Repair will cost more than a new camera so you may as well start shopping.
Get a neckstrap for your new camera. When it isn't hanging around your neck it should be in your camera bag.
