Employers today are swamped by hundreds of applications.
So be short, crisp, & to the point;-} to get their attention.
Don't do anything wierd or cute to try getting attention.
No more than 2 pages, tops.
Start with your name & contact information.
No other personal stuff, like age, gender, nationality, etc.
Make an eye-catching short business description of yourself:
e.g.
"Reliable office administrator"
"Experienced shop floor supervisor"
"Creative Web-based Application Designer"
Then describe your work experience or accomplishments,
in reverse order (most recent first) for past 5-10 years:
(be prepared to explain any gaps acceptably)
Position Title - Company Name - Date from/to (Month/Year).
Action word, task or project completed, effect/results.
e.g.
Managed project team of 3 to implement new process.
Built business by increasing sales volume 100% in 3 months.
Second page:
Educational background in chronological order to highest.
High-school graduation if in last 10 years, grade average.
College Diplomas or University Degrees received, or years.
Any business or commercial courses taken, when/where.
Professional associations or memberships if relevant.
You could mention hobbies, sports, or pastimes.

In u . s . a . resumes won't be able to be extra beneficial than a million or a million & a nil.5 pages in length except you have professional & publishing skills to checklist. 2 or 3 pages gets your resume filed interior the trash.
