YES, nothing should be able to come in the way of dating like that, perhaps you may not get along or something because of it, that is ridiculous also, but the religion should not STOP you from going out in the first place, just think of it as you are two people that want to date, blam, that works so well, forget religion, sex, race, don't not do something because of those things right there.

Yes. I'm a Christian, but my girlfriend is not. We've been together for years now. We respect one another's beliefs. I guess it ultimately depends upon the emotional maturity and tolerance level of the couple involved. It worked out well for us. However, some couples might experience difficulties in an interfaith relationship, especially if they're obsessed with converting one another (which we aren't).

Yes, I've been in that situation. If the two people really love each other, then the religion issue isn't a problem.

Sure. I've dated outside my faith before, and probably will again. (If I didn't, I'd have a pretty limited "dating pool" to work from!)
For me, what matters most is how tolerant the people involved are of each others' faiths. E.g., if the person I was with expected me to leave Paganism and convert to another faith, that would be a deal-breaker for me.

If religion is a deal breaker, then no - dating would just be a road to nowhere.

Yes, but if their religion is very important to them, it could cause difficulties.

i don't really think it's wrong...but, there must be some type of compromise when marriage and children are considered. depends also on the variance of their beliefs
