I have always wondered if you could use Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion on your body as well as your face. It makes my face feel soft and wonderful, and it's great for my sensitive skin. Can I use it on the rest of my body? I actually use the Equate brand of Cetaphil and it's amazing. Another question, does face moisturizer expire? I've had this bottle for a good long while and I'm not even close to running out and I use it every day and night.

My dermatologist has prescribed Cetaphil for my legs and arms to help with my dry skin, and it works just as well as it does on your face! You'll love it on your body.
Cetaphil will eventually go bad, but it takes years for the oils in it to break down. You don't need to worry, because the spoiled stuff won't hurt you, it just separates and looks a little gross. Fortunately, the oils in it are pharmaceutical grade, and should last for five or more years before going bad.

Yes. You can use Cetaphil anywhere you desire. I also use the Equate brand on my daughter, who has a severe case of eczema. The dermatologists were prescribing everything else under the sun. Another mother had told me about Equate. It helps with the severe, dry, sensitive, or itchy skin. It is wonderful because it is nongreasy like most of the other skin mosturizing lotions. However, lotions can expire. Furthermore, they do not expire on the date as shown on the bottle. You will be able to tell when it is time to replace your lotion because it will begin to discolor. The lotion will be slightly lumpy and a yellowish to light brown color. By the lotion expiring does not mean that you cannot use it, it just means that it will not produce the same effects as it once did. I would highly recommend that you just keep the lotion at room temperature. Also, if you have the bottle with the cap, make sure it is tight to lock out air. Tip: The pump bottles can be closed to keep air out also by pushing the nozzle down and twisting it to the right. I hope that my information has been helpful. I use Equate on my daughter three times a day. It is great for almost any skin condition!
One last thing, check out skinstore.com. They have a variety of low-cost, very effective skin care products. The products are tested and reviewed on celebrities and average joe's and mary's like us.

cetaphil is good for anyone with sensitive skin or has skin disorders like eczema or psoriasis, dermatitis, yes moisturisers have a shelf life of 2 years, some don't have use by date but production dates, the best indication is they have a funny smell or go very runny if they are out of date sometimes the ingredients separate so that one part looks clear and the other a cream do not use any product that looks like this.

Yes, you can use it everywhere on your body. You have the option of using it with or without water. I have always used it with water because it does contain cetyl alcohol. If you shave your legs or underarms (or anywhere else), it is a wonderful shaving cream.

Yes. It's the only kind I use on my body. I don't think it expires, you may just want to give it a good shake.
