An earlier question asked if people in heaven would remember loved ones that didn't make it. Many answered that you simply wouldn't remember.

So does this mean that god will force you to forget? Isn't that an invasion of the worst kind? In a sense, a raping of the mind? How is that free will?

In the same vein, will people that are after the second coming (there will still be births right?) have the potential to sin? Or will god get rid of the possibility? If you say yes, then why did god allow sin in the first place? Why give free will at one point, let us suffer, then take it away later?

To me, it sounds like he was bored... but then will someday decide we went through enough and will cancel the drama. Hmmm, maybe he'll even be nice enough to let us stick around and watch the next round of fun. He did it for the angels right?

Like a rolling stone: Does it even really matter? Are you telling me that I should follow your religion even though it doesn't make sense... or that you follow it even though you don't understand the details?

Of course there will be free will in heaven. Lucifer was an angel in heaven who rebelled against God and was cast out along with 1/3 of the angels who joined him in his rebellion. That requires free will. You make yet another excellent argument against the belief of eternal torment of the wicked whether you realize it or not.

Not one Christian can tell you whether or not they will know that someone they loved did or didn't make it to heaven; that is one of those questions that we have to wait to know the answer to.
After the second coming of the Lord there are only the people who have made it to the end of the Tribulation period and yes, they will be capable of having children and it will be the children that will be capable of choosing their own will or the will of the Father. Everyone must choose. It has always been that way. God gives everyone the choice to follow or to lead. It isn't really a matter of free will at all, it is actually a choice of whether or not you can live by the laws or rules that another has made. It is being able to view someone else's morals as being the "right" morals and yours being the ones that are lacking. I see God as I see a parent, they love you, nurture you, and then let you go to find your own path. Either you walk the same path as your parents walked or you follow your own. God doesn't allow people to sin, they do that on their own but He does allow you a way to change if you decide to walk in His ways. People sin, God doesn't. There is no free will. There is only your way or His. Be the leader of your own life or live your life for Him. That is not free will since there are severe consequences of being the leader of your own life. I don't see that as being free will, do you?

Yes, Christianity started as a sect of Judaism, but once Jesus failed to fulfil the prophesies concerning the moshiach (messiah) and they started saying he was God, those who believed these things ceased to be Jews. Further, through the missionary work of Paul, a lot of non-Jews were brought into Christianity -- more than the Jews who were brought in. There are a lot more reasons that Jews don't believe Jesus is the moshiach. He didn't rebuild the temple, gather all the Jews into Israel, cause all the nations of the world to recognise God as the supreme being, bring an end to poverty and disease....all things the moshiach (messiah) is going to do according to prophesy (in the "Old Testament"). About bringing Jews back to Israel...this does not mean that Christians are not important, it just means that Israelites are supposed to live in Israel.

Free will was given to man. In heaven we will not be mortal man.

Once satan is thrown into the pit, he will be off the face of this world for 1000 years. During that time there will be many generations born into a world not touched by satan.

During that time, it will be up to the parents to teach the children about how life used to be, about what it's like to live in a world where satan rules. Those same children, may or may not believe it.

When satan is unleashed on the earth again, for a short time, there will be a huge affect. There will be, for the first time in 1000 years, temptation. If we dont prepare our children, they will fall.

So here you have an example of God allowing, once again, temptation on the world before satan is finally sent to hell where he will stay.

Every life upon this world, must be tried by fire.

From what I can make out through the answers I have recieved they will die and their souls will be placed in some other body which is some sort of spiritual representation of their former bodies and then they will all undergo some sort of spiritual lobotomies, be left with an IQ of about 20 (just enough to remember their loved ones they will see in heaven) and then they will all live happily ever after. Sounds great huh?

A friend once told about Heaven being all about God and you wouldn't remember anything about your life even your family. I said to him "If such a Heaven exists I rather go to Hell than serve a selfish God".

No it doesn't. Instead your ability and desire to follow God's will is perfected.

The Bible teaches that Christians for the most part aren't to be practicing free will on Earth. When we become Christians we become servants of the King of the Universe. And when we become servants we become submissive to His Will.

Does it really matter all that much? Heaven will hold beauty beyond compare. We WILL have things to do and a lot of them. Please read the Bible and Christian commentaries to answer your other questions. These will give you a better answer than I can offer.

So many questions, so little time. Why not read the Bible?

Satan had free will when he rebelled did he not?

There is no - repeat NO - flesh in heaven. We Christians will have glorified bodies. Stay tuned......
