When you realize there is a problem which will not be solved by your wishing it were not so. Saying goodbye is never easy, however it is sometimes necessary.

Pray for them. Ask for guidance. Allow God to lead you in your decision. If you must say goodbye, do not allow yourself to be drawn back in, and do not feel guilty about escaping a dysfunctional relationship. Self preservation is a God given reaction to danger.

If there are weeds in your garden, pull them out, as you see them surface. The weeds can make the fruits taste bitter and fill them with toxins!

Confucius said this: "If a person, within their lifetime, finds but two people that they can 'truly' call a friend, they should consider themselves most fortunate."
We should love everyone, yet we must do that which is necessary for our own personal growth.

An organization should uplift mans spirit and in no way work to destroy it. This is a personal decision within each and every individual as to how the organization is benefiting ones personal growth.

May we be given the "Wisdom", that is necessary to make the correct choices in our lives.

It is time to say good bye when the association or relation wastes your time. A dysfunctional social group gives you no support and thus has insidious effects on your sense of being a part of a greater whole.

Sometimes we need to monitor the "dosage" rather than say goodbye. Two Tylenol will cure a headache, 20 Tylenol will kill your liver. Friends and social groups can be much like Tylenol. Consider time and distance but without the permanency of goodbye, just smaller doses. Unless they are damaging to you (like abusive or using drugs) ... then it is goodbye.
