Sometimes it does. If you have a bookstore that concentrates on religious books and art (or other supplies such as church supplies), religion has everything to do with it. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF THE RELIGION IS CHRISTIAN OR NOT FOR THIS EXAMPLE

Otherwise, religion and business have very little to do with each other.....

If you believe business should be done ethically, and if religion informs your ethics, then yes.

of course. They had (and in some places... or some aspects they still have) so much political power that undoubtedly they affect economics too.
