Yes, I find cat whiskers around all the time. The first time I found one in my cat's food bowl, I freaked out!! But then I figured out what it was and that it was normal... usually as they gain or lose weight (or grow, like kitten to adult) they will lose whiskers and grow new ones. A cat's whiskers are as wide as its body, and they use them to judge if they can fit into tight spaces (hence the reason they lose old ones when gaining weight or growing!).

A whisker, or MANY to ALL of them? One, yes, they'll lose one here and there, those are replaced, like most hairs, naturally. But a cat without whiskers on his face is a forlorn kitty, if not completely freaked and out of his mind, and that can kill a cat.

well if your cat got one teared off or something very normal but they will lose balance a little bit if they lost a whisker. b/c the whiskers is like there steering and if we lost a very useful part off our steering wheel then we couyldent quite stay on the road.

Yes maybe on or two at a time, but if they are all gone someone has pulled them out.

Just like other hairs, they can fall out, but will grow back.
