Ask someone else to tell you. It's the only way. When you do the cup, sniff thing, you usually won't be able to smell anything. That's because so much of taste is smell. So, essentially, your mouth will taste how it smells, but you won't notice anything cause you are used to the taste. So ask someone you know won't make fun of you.

no easy way to tell-- just be sure and brush way in the back of your tongue. it will make you gag, thats how you know you got back far enough. also, be sure to floss everyday cuz if you have a spot where food gets caught easy, it ll rot there til you floss it out.

Cup your hands around your mouth, and exhale, then sniff it to see, this is the best advice I can tell you, you certainly don't want someone to have to tell you if it smells.

THE ONLY TRUE SURE FIRE WAY IS TO ASK SOMEONE WHOM YOU TRUST. YOU YOURSELF CANNOT PERCEIVE YOUR OWN BAD BREATH.
WHY?
THE WAY YOUR SENSE OF SMELL AND BRAIN ARE WIRED.
