If you use a 12 volt adapter for an object that requires 6 v, will you fry the object?

Will the stronger adapter damage it at all or do anything? If so what will it do?

Yep...or blow a fuse in it...and/or blow the adapter.

Stop by Radio Shack with the device you need the adapter for. They are not too expensive and they will hook you up with the right one.

if i requires 6 v why use a 12 v don't risk damaging the object.its your call..
