was incacerated. He had charges from almost 7 years ago that he got probation for. These things happened in the state of Michigan. The charges sentencing total are for 7 years. In all the years he's been free he hasn't been in any trouble, but he should have rectified this issue way sooner. Do you think they will make him serve the full 7 years or just the 90 days for probation violation? It wasn't for anything violent or drugs. Thanks for your answers.

It really is up to the judge and what kind of charges he had when he violated.I am not sure of the laws in Michigan, but I knew someone who got caught years later and he got more probation. It really has to do of what kind of crime he had.GOOD LUCK.-----All people aren't bad just because they go to jail as long as you learn from them.Since he hasn't been in anymore trouble maybe the judge will go easy on him.Someone could write the judge(if you can find out who he is)and put in a good word for him if you think he is worth it.

A probation violation means you usually get sent back to prison for the entire sentence. I would especially expect this in his case since he is probably listed as a felony fugitive.

That's going to be up to the court. He needs to get legal representation and he needs to get it quickly and he needs to keep his mouth shut unless and until he's advised otherwise by his attorney.
