I have a 1997 jeep grand cherokee TSI v8 for the last month or so it has been dying when I stop?

It dies when I let off the gas to turn or when I stop it will restart but I have to give it gas or it won't then it goes ok for a while

try checking the fuel pump..
thts mainly the reason...

or since its an older car....it may be the idle speed motor..( its probably dirty, and needs to be cleaned ), you can find that most likely under ur throttle body..
its a 97, so dirt prob. got into it after so long...

I take it the check engine lite is not on. I would suggest you check the idle air control, located at the throttle body or you may have a faultu egr valve and less likely a vacuum leak.
