I don't know for sure. You should check out some of the Indigo websites and ask someone there. It may all depend on the characteristics that you notice as she gets older. I am hearing that all children coming in now have higher consciousness, but I suppose it is possible to have a new soul too. Peace.

Watch her development - cognitive and motor--and have it evaluated by professionals to see how she is progressing.

Addendum: "Indigo children" and "crystal children" is a theory -- and has not been scientifically proven. There are countless numbers of people and children who will have "symptoms" similar to those on the indicator list, but until widespread studies with test and norm groups are accomplished and results validated, then this does just remain a theory. I'm not denying the possibility, but a theory is a theory until proven. And a group of people fitting into "indicators" of a category don't necessarily mean the people belong in that category, theoretically speaking.

For instance, at the link below, almost everyone in my family including me, have ALL the indicators applying to us (and not just "kinda"). But I'm not sure that is enough to reliably conclude that we are all Indigo Children, if such a thing really can be categorized -- we just call ourselves late bloomers.

Regarding the question, "Do all Indigo's give birth to crystal children?" There is no tested evidence either way. And, if it *is* true that *most* indigo children were born in 1992 or later (which would then include my daughter, who also possesses the indicators), then we won't have any test groups until this group, en masse, has children and they can be studied.

Some people reading this will get a bit defensive, but it is my belief that you should be careful about labeling yourself AND putting a label on your child. Let children grow, learn, develop and express as they ARE, and they will be WHO they are (or are not) in the fullest way possible.

For me personally, because of my spiritual beliefs as a Christian, I am more than uncomfortable with some of the language used surrounding the author's theory about alleged Indigo Children. Not to offend, but to my eyes it reads a little bit New Age-ish and over the top. And again, as yet, completely un-proven.

I'm not sure of what an Indigo child is, but what I can tell you is that 1 take time to look at your background and her fathers background and 2 get on the Internet and do some research on then and look at the %s. Thats what I would do if I were you.I hope i helped a little bit by the way congrats on your baby and good luck.

Technically, you are part of Generation Y (the echo boomers, I think) and your daughter will either be an old Gen-M member or a member of some new generation.

I bet you'd really like to read Generations...here's a link to a copy...

http://www.amazon.com/Generations-History-Americas-Future-1584/dp/0688119123

It is a really good book...its based a little more on science than the Indigo Children books. (although they're not inaccurate books...I don't think I remember them being anyway...)

Every generation likes to think that they are different and somehow special above the rest of humanity. In my humble opinion this is vanity. Embrace your ancestors and respect the sacrifices they had to endure. Learn from the past! This is the only way we can truly transcend it.
